Rediscovering Iligan's Gastronomy 2013

Since my 2011 comeback in Iligan, I have become some sort of a hermit. I have stayed indoors and goes out casually to run errands and little dates. To top it all, I have been going to the same places all the time to eat [Jollibee and red ribbon, I an getting boring].

Until my cousin's graduation, I found out that Iligan has now becoming gastronimically rich.
Here are some new finds and "re-finds":
1. Psalm's kitchen
    Location: Quezon Avenue Extension
    Experience: I have come here due to hypoglycemia during a few of my errands
    Companion: Up to date, always by myself
    Verdict: 3-4 spoons
    Turn ons: a) desserts b) food presentation c) ambiance d) accesibility
    Turn offs: main courses are well presented but tastes about just fine

2. Biano's Pizza
    Location: San Miguel Village, Pala-o
    Experience: Pizza is my comfort food, mostly delivered to the hospital I work in
    Companion: BF and friends
    Verdict: 5 spoons for food
    Turn ons: Full house, chicken pesto and meat lovers
    Turn offs: beefy warma and tuna; ambiance 
3. Flamoo
    Location: The Strip, Quezon Avenue Extension
    Experience: Some outdoors shack
    Companion: BF and family
    Verdict: 4 spoon
    Turn ons: salads and ambiance, free wifi
    Turn offs: slabs of meat and oils (talking about cholesterol)

4. Enang's Grill and Seafood Restaurant
    Location: Gerona Bridge, Andres Bonifacio Avenue
    Experience: "Lutong bahay" or home-cooked type of meals just tops everything off
    Companion: BF(our new favorite spot)
    Verdict: 4-5 spoons
    Turn ons: "Kinilaw", fisheto, chopseuy and ambiance
    Turn offs: slightly pricey

5. Jacko's Kan-anan
    Location: Gerona, Andres Bonifacio Avenue
    Experience: Comfort place were most of our friends meet, owned by a dear friend
    Companion: BF and friends
    Verdict: 4-5 spoons
    Turn ons: Ambiance, all good food and a little less price and wifi connection
    Turn offs: hmmm (hard to say, but I love them), sometimes though long service 

6. Fontina
    Location: Andres Bonifacio Avenue (near Kingsway Inn)
    Experience: Some fine dining experience
    Companion: Dear Friend ""Jun-jun"
    Verdict: 5 spoons
    Turn ons: Ambiance, Wifi connection and salads, pastas and desserts
    Turn offs: super pricey

6. Coffee Works
    Location: Andres Bonifacio Avenue corner Balite Drive
    Experience: Coffee and mostly talks
    Companion: BF and sisters
    Verdict: 4 spoons
    Turn ons: Ambiance, Wifi connection and ice-coffee; desserts
    Turn offs: quietly strong coffee for my taste

6. Aruma
    Location: De Leon Street
    Experience: Going with good friends and fun talks
    Companion: Good friends
    Verdict: 5 spoons
    Turn ons: Ambiance, Wifi connection and all their coffee
    Turn offs: all their sweets because I want to eat them all

6. Zoey's Cafe
    Location: Aguinaldo St corner Ramiro St
    Experience: Favorite me time place
    Companion: Mostly alone
    Verdict: 5 spoons
    Turn ons: Wifi connection and salads; Zoey's fave salad and chicken salad
    Turn offs: long service, needs renovations
